Private AI photo upscaler for iPhone
A private photo upscaler should make the image clearer without making the photo leave your device. Local Upscale is built around that model: select a photo, run enhancement locally, compare the result, and save the output back to Photos.
Why local processing matters
Many AI photo enhancement tools are web services. They ask you to upload an image, wait for remote processing, and download the result. That can be convenient for some jobs, but it is not always the right fit for personal photos, family photos, client images, screenshots, receipts, or anything else you do not want to send to another service.
Local Upscale runs its enhancement workflow on iPhone and iPad. The app does not operate a photo-processing backend, and the selected photo is not uploaded to Local Upscale servers for enhancement.
What the app is designed to improve
Local Upscale focuses on common cleanup tasks: enlarging low-resolution photos, reducing noise in grainy images, and improving soft detail with deblur mode. The app is intentionally narrow, so the workflow stays easy to understand and the privacy promise stays simple.
Website analytics are separate
The Local Upscale website may use Google Analytics for aggregate page visits and App Store click measurement. That website analytics setup is separate from app photo processing. It does not receive your selected photos, enhanced outputs, Photos library content, or local app activity.
